Making A Purchase

We accept credit card payment. We only accept orders from the UK.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, unless a special order has been placed i.e. conservatory cushions or carved inscriptions, then full payment will be taken. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the Internet.

Shipping and Handling

Large items such as fully assembled benches will incur a delivery charge of £14.99, unless otherwise stated.

Weather covers, bench anchors and bench cushions will incur a delivery charge of £4.99.

Some heavier item will incur a delivery charge of £34.99.

Free delivery for purchases over £750 to mainland UK.

There are certain products in our catalogue which do not permit free delivery - these are the very heavy items. These products have a separate delivery option when ordering.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally send your order to you in 14 business days if the goods are in stock. If we cannot fulfil your order from stock, we will contact you & discuss the estimated delivery time.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK 15% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

Benches.co.uk guarantees their products sold to the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials for twelve months from day of purchase.

This guarantee excludes damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse or normal weathering.

Any problems will be dealt with quickly by personal inspection when reported, either by repair or in extreme circumstances will be fully replaced.

Returns Policy

There is a 7 day money back guarantee on all products that you find unsuitable for the purpose they are designed for.

If the products are found to be faulty we will offer a full refund equal to the value of the returned product. We do ask that the product(s) are made available for collection in the same condition as they were when received by you, there will be a collection charge for non faulty products, however they can be returned by the customer at their cost.

Sale item products that are found unsuitable will only be issued with store credit notes, this excludes faulty goods where full refunds will still be offered.

Non-Faulty Goods

Non-faulty goods must be returned within 14 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to sales@benches.co.uk phone within 24 hours. Our Returns Department will then contact you with the relevant procedure. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods less delivery and collection costs (calculated at 15% of the purchase price). You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.
